Echo-Son S.A. is a Polish manufacturer of medical ultrasound systems with more than 30 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
Since 1993, we have been designing and manufacturing diagnostic ultrasound equipment for medical applications. We combine in-house engineering, long-term technical expertise and practical understanding of clinical applications.
Our quality management system is certified according to ISO 13485:2016, and our medical devices are designed and manufactured in accordance with the applicable requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR).
Echo-Son products have been CE marked since 2002, giving us more than two decades of experience in meeting European medical device regulatory requirements.
We focus on developing reliable, specialized and practical ultrasound solutions for professional medical users in Poland and international markets.
The main shareholder of Echo-Son S.A. is the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Historically speaking, we are “pupils” of the “Techpan” Experimental Department of IPPT PAN, which in the late 1970s developed and produced the first Polish ultrasound scanners USG-10 and USO-10! (see the “History of Ultrasonography” tab at the bottom of the page)
Therefore, we can be proud that our technical and construction staff consists of people who “produced” the first Polish ultrasound scanners over 30 years ago. The company also employs many young designers specializing in digital methods of analysis and processing of signals, images, etc. Such composition of the construction staff and close cooperation with outstanding scientists from the Polish Academy of Sciences and Medical Universities enables the construction and production of world-class equipment, as evidenced by the international quality certificates as well as awards and distinctions awarded to our products.
